MQ-200X Quantum Separate Sensor with Handheld Meter

The MQ-200X has a hand-held meter, attached via cable, that displays and stores measurements. The sensor head features a fully potted, domed-shaped design making it fully waterproof, weatherproof and self-cleaning. Typical applications include PPFD measurement over plant canopies in outdoor environments, greenhouses, and growth chambers, and reflected or under-canopy (transmitted) PPFD measurements in the same environments. Quantum sensors are also used to measure PAR/PPFD in aquatic environments, including salt water aquariums where corals are grown.

The meter has a sample and log mode and will record an integrated daily total in mol m-2 d-1. Sample mode will record up to 99 manual measurements. Log mode will power the meter on/off to make a measurement every 30 seconds. Every 30 minutes the meter will average the sixty 30 second measurements and record the averaged value to memory. The meter can store up to 99 averages, once full it will start to overwrite the oldest measurement with new ones. An integrated daily total will be recorded from the 48 averaged measurements (making a 24 hr period). Sample and log measurements can be reviewed on the LCD display or by downloading the data to a computer, however, the integrated daily total can only be viewed by downloading the data to a computer. Downloading data to a computer requires the AC-100 communication cable (a standard USB cable will not work) and ApogeeAMS software.

MQ-500: Full-Spectrum Quantum Meter

The MQ-500 quantum meter is the tool of choice for scientists all over the world to accurately measure hotosynthetically active radiation from all light sources.

It has a hand-held meter, attached via cable, that displays and stores measurements. The sensor incorporates a blue-enhanced silicon photodiode and custom optical filters with a rugged, self-cleaning sensor housing design, anodized aluminum body with acrylic diffuser.

SQ-205X-SS Amplified 0-5 Volt Original Quantum Sensor

The SQ-205X-SS is an amplified original quantum sensor with a 0 to 5 V output. The sensor features a rugged, self-cleaning sensor housing design, and high-quality cable terminating in pre-tinned pigtail leads for easy connection to dataloggers and controllers. Typical applications include PPFD (Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density) measurement over plant canopies in outdoor environments, greenhouses, and growth chambers, and reflected or under-canopy (transmitted) PPFD measurements in the same environments. Quantum sensors are also used to measure PAR (Photosynthetically Active Radiation)/PPFD in aquatic environments, including salt water aquariums where corals are grown. Sensor includes IP68 marine-grade stainless-steel cable connector to simplify sensor removal and replacement for maintenance and recalibration.

SQ-512-SS: Amplified 0-2.5 V Full-Spectrum Quantum Sensor

The SQ-512 is an amplified full-spectrum quantum sensor with a 0 to 2.5 V output. The sensor incorporates a blue-enhanced silicon photodiode and custom optical filters with a rugged, self-cleaning sensor housing design, anodized aluminum body with acrylic diffuser, and high-quality cable terminating in pre-tinned pigtail leads for easy connection to dataloggers and controllers. Sensor includes IP68 marine-grade stainless-steel cable connector 30 cm from head to simplify sensor removal and replacement for maintenance and recalibration.

MQ-306: Line Quantum with 6 Sensors and Handheld Meter

Apogee line quantum sensors measure a spatial average of PAR (Photosynthetically Active Radiation). The MQ-306 has a separated sensor bar with 6 sensors connected to a hand-held meter via cable. The sensor housing design features an integrated bubble level and is fully potted making the sensor weatherproof. Typical applications include PPFD (Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density) measurement over plant canopies in outdoor environments, greenhouses, and growth chambers, and reflected or under-canopy (transmitted) PPFD measurements in the same environments. Quantum sensors are also used to measure PAR/PPFD in aquatic environments, including salt water aquariums where corals are grown.
